Go-onger and Kamen Rider Kiva in the Super Hero Time programming block on NTV. The catchphrase for the series is "Tagapagtanggol ng sangkatauhan!"
Story
For 450 years, the Taguktok family line have suppressed the evil intentions of the Dungawon, malevolent spirits that enter the world of the living from gaps between buildings and other structures. Now, Geoff Taguktok , the son of Peter Tagutok, head of the family, must gather four youngsters in order to battle the Dungawon under the revived Emperor Mariwari as the Ultrarangers.
Characters
Using the mystical power known as "Ultrapower" , these five youths can transform into the Shinkengers to combat the Dungawon.
Geoff Taguktok/UltraRed
Descendant from hacienderos(landlords), Geoff was reared since childhood by Peter Taguktok to accomplish his family's legacy. Though he is cold and strict, he also cares the most about his friends and their mission. His main weapon is the Ultra Saber.
Randall Lozano/UltraBlue
Randall is a young man who gave up becoming a stage actor to answer the call of helpin Geoff. Due to his parents' upbringing, he is extremely enthusiastic and takes his role as Geoff's helper seriously. His fierce loyalty and enthusiasm brings much comic relief. His main weapon is the Ultra Bow.
Martin Cheung/UltraGreen
Irresponsgibility, selfishness and arrogance best describes this lazy young Tsinoy. Martini had no interest in becoming Geoff's helper and often clashes with him. He is a great strategist despite his delinquency, and comes to respect Geoff as a rival when he realizes the limits of his own abilities. His main weapon is the Ultra Spear.
Francesca "Fran" Landiel/UltraYellow
Fran is a strong-willed girl who fights for her own ideals. When she saw Geoff taking his responsibilities seriously, she decided to join the group. She loves children and was a preschool teacher prior to becoming Geoff's helper. Her main weapon is the Ultra Fan.
Flannery Moss/UltraPink
Flannery is a cute girl who is of Filipino and British descent and is gifted in singing and dancing. She became Geoff's helper in place of her older sister, a violinist, who fell ill. While her femininity (such as staling enemies by screaming) is criticized by Geoff, he is satisfied by her determination and willingness to do her part. Her main weapon is the Ultra Disc.
